If you are trying to edit using a third party plugin, then the original is required to copy (or use if raster). I don't get it and it's so frustrating to have such crucial feedback completely absent. Make absolutly sure that smart previews with a external drive is not the issue. I would say that this is the single most important feedback next to self-alignment torque (steering wheel automatically pulling, like when you oversteer and the steering wheel suddenly becomes light and starts turning itself to a side, then when you catch the rear end, it automatically starts centering after a couple of seconds) which my steering wheel is perfectly capable of, so why wouldn't it be able to simply vibrate when wheels start locking up under hard braking? So, why would tire slip be grayed out if everything else works perfectly? The engine one is weird and I certainly don't want to feel what the engine is doing inside the steering wheel (this doesn't even make sense), but why is tire slip grayed out? I mean, it's literally just vibration, the same vibration that I get when I hit a bump, when I crash, when I land from a jump and so on. My Logitech Momo steering wheel does not do this at all which makes it incredibly hard to threshold brake. When I was using my Xbox controller to test something, I noticed that it starts vibrating as soon as wheels are about to start locking up. Something always felt wrong about any kind of loss of traction and especially braking without ABS.
